Thanks so much for your help! I'm using Excel for Mac Version 15.32 (Office 365) with a pretty large workbook with about 15 sheets. Starting what seemed like randomly, links between sheets in Excel stopped working. When I enter in a formula that references another sheet, and I go to that sheet to select the destination cell, at first everything looks OK, but after about 1 second, the green box that 'highlights' the potentially selected cell stops following the cursor. Then when I click on the right cell, it looks like everything is OK, except when I hit enter to calculate the formula, nothing happens. Nothing is calculated, and the formula even disappears from the formula bar. Sometimes when I return to the destination cell a few minutes later, I then find that another cell now links to my desired destination cell. I have tried copying all my data into a new document, but that didn't work, and I've scoured web sites to try to find another response. I tried entering into Visual Basic 'Application.CalculateFullRebuild,' but I'm not familiar with Visual Basic, and I'm not sure I did it right. (I just selected 'Full Workbook,' typed it in and hit enter.) Do you have any thoughts? This is really stumping me and holding up my work greatly. ![]() Thanks very much, both of you. I discovered something very important rebuilding the workbook. The original workbook was 1.6 MB. First I tried just redoing the mundane task in a new workbook, and it worked fine. Then I rebuilt the relevant elements of the whole spreadsheet in a new workbook (225 KB), and everything also worked great! Then I saved the new workbook, stepped away from the computer, and it went to sleep. When I came back, it didn't work. So I think it must be some kind of issue with Excel for Mac itself.
